In celebration of summer, Fustini’s Oils & Vinegars will host a Pie and Ice Cream Social on Friday, Aug. 7, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Shops at Wailea.

Guests will have the opportunity to sample Fustini’s fruit- and herb-infused dessert vinegars and olive oils. Partnering with The Shops at Wailea neighbor Lappert’s Ice Cream, Fustini’s also seeks to highlight the grand opening of Maui Pie Company, which will be offering pies for sale. As a special treat, Aloha Spiced Cacao will be drizzling their special sauces over the pie and ice cream.

Sam Molitas, owner of Maui’s Best massage, will also be on-hand offering chair massages.

“What a great way to spend a summer evening cooling off with Maui’s newest pie shop delights and topping it off with everyone’s favorite, Lappert’s famous ice cream,” said Fustini’s Store Manager Jill Sullivan.

Kellee and Ryan Houghtaling opened the Maui Pie Company on July 17 at Azeka Shopping Center in Kīhei.

“We are so excited to be partnering with Fustini’s Oils and Vinegars!” said Kellee. “We have been working with owner Jim Milligan and his four stores in Michigan. Our fresh fruit pies go hand in hand with the delicious Fustini’s products. And of course, Lappert’s ice cream is the perfect topper.”

“Customer service and the quality of the product speaks for itself and pairing with Fustini’s and the Maui Pie Company just makes it more fun as they are of the same quality,” said Lappert’s Manager Les Riggle.
