A moist air mass is sticking around this weekend so the possibility of heavy rain and thunderstorms also lingers. Trade winds are expected to replace our light and variable winds by Monday. Clouds and showers are forecasted to diminish overall during mid-week, but also will become more focused along windward slopes. Unsettled weather may return for next weekend.
Today we expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms. Locally heavy rainfall is possible. Hazy skies are also expected although rain will help to clean some of that up in areas where it falls. High temperatures from 87° to 92°. Southeast winds are expected around 15 mph.
