Raise a beer glass and dig into some German food in Kāʻanapali this October. Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa invites beer lovers to celebrate Black Rocktoberfest with a special beer-pairing dinner, on tap Thursday, Oct. 1, through Saturday, Oct. 31.

The Black Rocktoberfest menu will be available at the resort’s signature restaurant, Black Rock Kitchen, and features four courses, each complemented by a tasty brew. Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa Chef de Cuisine Jeffrey Rayno created the menu, which includes:

· German pretzel sticks with beer cheese sauce, paired with a bright and hoppy Pinkus Pilsner

“We strive to bring authentic experiences to guests, locals and visitors to our resort and wanted to introduce an element of Oktoberfest to people in Maui,” said Brian Hunnings, executive assistant manager of Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa. “Our beer-pairing menu marries flavors from delicious local ingredients with light, hoppy and malty beer tastings.”

The dinner menu costs $45 per person and $15 for corresponding beers, not including tax and gratuity.

Black Rock Kitchen is open daily for dinner between 5:30 and 9 p.m. For dining reservations, which are recommended, call (808) 662-8053.
