The Maui Monster Massive, the island’s biggest costume party and dance music event, will return for it’s fourth year on Friday, Oct. 30, beginning at 9 p.m. at Diamonds Ice Bar & Grill in the Azeka Shopping Center in Kīhei.

Maui DJs, performers and producers have collaborated to put on a spectacle of a show. This year, special guest DJs will be flown in from all over the state and beyond.

The DJ lineup included DJ ScottyHam, Karma’s Nightclub resident DJ, who is flying in from Hilo; DJ LX, one of Maui’s most popular DJs, who works along with Next Level Entertainment and stars in the PowerMix at 6 and other radio shows on 98.3FM; and DJ Lobstah, a premiere electronic and trap music DJ.

Also featured will be EDM duo #POUNDTOWN, who plays Maui and Hawai‘i’s largest festivals and dance music shows beyond the islands.

Jerry Cola will fly in from Seattle, Washington, as a special guest.
Many more guest performers will be announced as the event date gets closer.

The event will also include gogo dancers, a large soundstage, a laser light show, a free photo booth, dancing all night long, and last but not least, the costumed crowds. Costumes are highly encouraged.

Attendees can expect drink specials all night long, free prizes and giveaways from local sponsors, as well as media outlets capturing the night’s celebration.

The Maui Monster Massive initially started on Front Street.

“The first one was insane, for lack of a better term; and we always expect it to get bigger and better each year”, said event organizer Ryan McGinnis. “It’s a fun, positive place for people to just celebrate, escape, and enjoy… Everyone’s looking out for each other and the vibe is just, great! So thankful that we can keep the Maui Monster Massive going year after year and we can’t wait to see you all there!”

Doors open at 8 p.m. to the 21- and-over crowd. No cover or pre-sales are required this year; instead, event promoters encourage attendees to make donations to local charities. Ample parking will be available.
