Breezy Winds Continue, Drier Than Yesterday

A Small Craft Advisory is posted for all Maui County waters through 6 p.m. Sunday for east winds up to 25 knots and seas up to 12 feet.
A High Surf Advisory is in effect for the east facing shores of Maui and Molokai through Sunday at 6 p.m. Surf heights of 5 to 8 foot faces are expected.

Looking Ahead
Breezy east-northeast trade winds are expected to stay in place through the middle of next week, with clouds and showers favoring our usual windward and mauka areas. We are likely to see an increase in showers early next week as deeper moisture moves back over the state.

Partly sunny skies are expected today with scattered windward and mauka showers and isolated leeward showers. High temperatures from 83° to 88°. East winds are forecast from 15 to 25 mph with higher gusts.

East winds are expected around 15 mph. Low temperatures from 72° to 77°. Mostly cloudy skies are expected with scattered showers for windward and mauka spots. Leeward spots should get isolated showers and partly cloudy skies.
