Manpower shortage Haʻikū. Maui Now graphic.

The Maui Department of Environmental Management, Solid Waste Division announced missed residential trash collection in Haʻikū today due to a manpower shortage.

Affected streets include:

– Aliʻikoa Place
– Haʻikū Road
– Holokai Road
– Kauhikoa Road
– Kaupakalua Road
– East and West Kuiaha Road
– Luahine Place
– Nanihōkū Place
– Peʻahi Road
– Ulumalu Road as well as all surrounding streets.

Refuse pickup on affected routes has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Dec. 9, 2015. Department officials apologized for the inconvenience.
