Hawai‘i Life Real Estate Brokers will host the fifth year of the “unconference” Worthshop Series events on Dec. 10 and 11 at the world-renowned Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort.
Founded on the idea that the world has plenty of conferences where people pitch, sell and then go back to their normal routine, Worthshop has a tradition of connecting executives from around the world with their deeper selves.
Each year, the real estate industry’s brightest and most influential minds gather for this “Davos of real estate” along with independent thinkers, business leaders, creative marketers and decision makers for an immersive experience in a spectacular location.
This year’s theme, “Talk Story,” brings together leaders from a wide variety of backgrounds to share and explore the power of storytelling and listening in business.
One of the most anticipated featured speakers is video game-designer-turned-visionary-philanthropist Henk Rodgers. Hawai‘i resident Rodgers made headlines earlier this year for taking his home completely off the grid. He is the founder of the Blue Planet Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to clearing the path for clean energy.
Speakers also include Brad Inman of Inman News; Mike Robbins, author of Nothing Changes Until You Do; actor Derek Miller, and many more, who will all share ways to find and share your story with the world.
“Worthshop 5 is all about finding your true story and learning to better share it with the people who most need to hear it.” said Matt Beall, co-founder of Hawai‘i Life.
Each year the conference takes on a different theme and iteration. This year’s event promises more interactivity, more networking and all the fun and relaxation for which Hawai‘i is renowned.
A mix of break-out group sessions, keynote speakers and musical performances from Paula Fuga and Mike Love will make this a conference like no other.
“When we started Worthshop, we had no idea it would grow so quickly,”said Beall. “It’s our honor each year to commune with like-minded professionals, hear their stories and share a bit about what makes our home so very special.”
