Honua Kai Resort & Spa has appointed Dolly Moreno as its director of sales and marketing.

A Honua Kai Resort & Spa veteran, Moreno will oversee the direction of reservations, revenue management, sales, marketing and public relations efforts in her new role.

“Dolly has extensive knowledge of the local market and an array of experience working with hotels and resorts of all calibers,” said Claudio Andrade, general manager for Honua Kai Resort & Spa. “Her experience will be invaluable as we continue with the goal of being the Kā‘anapali resort for families and friends by offering a luxury-resort experience with spacious condominium-style suites.”

Honua Kai Resort & Spa says Moreno is a passionate and committed hotel executive, who has a deep connection and true understanding of how Hawaiian hospitality can enrich guests’ lives.

Born and raised in Lahaina, Maui, Moreno has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

She joined the Honua Kai Resort & Spa team in 2008 and served as sales manager and reservations manager prior to being named director of sales and marketing.

Moreno’s career tenure also includes wholesale and leisure sales, revenue management and operations roles at Kā‘anapali Beach Hotel, the former Kapalua Bay Hotel, Westin Kā‘anapali Ocean Resort, and Encore, Las Vegas.
