Storm Damage Forces Closure of Kahului Service Center
Due to severe storm damage the main service center of the Division of Motor Vehicles and Licensing (DMVL), located at the Maui Mall in Kahului, has been closed until further notice.
Customers are encouraged to visit the satellite officers to conduct vehicle registration, driver’s license renewals and other DMVL business. Satellite office locations include Kihei, Lahaina and Pukalani, all of which are open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Due to the severity of the flood damage and electrical repairs that need to be made, there is currently no time estimate as to when the Kahului service center will reopen. The County of Maui apologizes for this inconvenience.
