Maui Surf Forecast
North: Many spots are expected to be shoulder high to overhead today. Some spots may even get up to a few feet overhead on the sets early in the day.
West: Wrap from the north-northwest swell is affecting some western shores today. Spots along the western coast will vary greatly in size based on the amount of exposure. Ankle/knee high for shores with less exposure to the swell. Shoulder/head high or more for spots that get the exposure.
South: Wave heights are waist/chest high today with the best breaks bringing in shoulder high waves on the sets.
A new south-southwest bump is peaking Monday at about shoulder high before a slow fading trend begins through mid week. A new swell is expected this weekend.
Our current north-northwest swell is expected to continue fading today. Later this week a north-northeast swell is expected to fill in.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
