Swells Fading Today, New Large NW for Tuesday

Maui Surf Forecast
North: Many spots are expected to be waist/shoulder high today. The best breaks could get up to head high on the sets.
West: Ankle high surf is expected. Pretty flat for most spots. Breaks catching the wrap could get up to waist high or more.
South: Wave heights are ankle/knee high today.
Minimal south-southwest is expected through the weekend. Nothing promising out of the SPAC anytime soon.
Our current north-northwest swell is expected to slowly fade over the next few days. A new northwest swell will reinforce the current swell, filling in Saturday. Tuesday into Wednesday a large northwest swell could fill in if the current models are correct. Will keep an eye on it and let you know how it progresses.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
