Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are expected chest/shoulder high to about head high at the best breaks.
West: Ankle high surf is expected. Breaks catching the wrap could get up to waist high or maybe head high on the sets.
South: Surf is pretty flat today.
Our current long period south-southwest swell is expected to continue trending down. Sunday into Monday a small southwest swell is expected to filter in with occasional rideable waves for the best exposures. Not much expected out of the SPAC anytime soon.
Our current northwest swell will continue to trend down Saturday. A small short period north swell is filtering in on Sunday up to about chest high. Models are also showing another northwest swell around April 6th. Will keep an eye on the progress.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
