Hawaii Business magazine awarded Hospice Maui the title of “Best Places to Work 2016” in the medium-sized company category.

CEO Dr. Greg LaGoy received the award at a recent event in O‘ahu.

“It takes time, effort, leadership and—here’s the secret sauce—integrity, to be a recipient of the “Best Places to Work award,” according to Hawaii Business magazine’s “The Right Stuff” article by Gina Gelber.

Over the past 35 years, thousands of people on Maui have experienced one more ingredient that sets Hospice Maui apart—the love that is the source of the deeply compassionate care that is provided to patients and families, a Hospice Maui press release stated.

While it is rarely mentioned in relation to a work environment, Hospice Maui’s staff maintain that the love they bring to their work also helps make Hospice Maui one of the best places to work, the release concluded.

Imua Family Services was also recognized as one of the “2016 Best Places to Work.”
