Keiki Hula Festival at Lahaina Cannery Mall
The Lahaina Cannery Mall will host its 18th annual Keiki Hula Festival on Saturday and Sunday, July 16 and 17.
This free, two-day cultural event will feature hālau (dance troupes) from across the island presenting richly choreographed kahiko (ancient hula) and auana (modern) hula that express the traditional values of Hawaii and the Pacific Islands.
The weekend celebration also features Hawaiian artisans and crafters demonstrating lei making, weaving, wood carving and other traditional skills.
