The Maui Police Department and Crime Stoppers are requesting the public’s help in locating 47-year-old James L. Davis, a man named as a suspect in an attempted theft incident from a Kīhei business in early May of 2016.
According to police, Davis is suspected of attempting to steal items valued in excess of $400 during the incident.
He is described as approximately 5’9” tall and weighs approximately 175 pounds. He also has brownish/grayish colored hair and hazel eyes.
Police say Davis is possibly operating a green 2002 Ford pickup truck, bearing Hawaiʻi State license plate JXD730. He is known to frequent the Kīhei and Kahului areas and police say he may be homeless.
