Maui County Surf Forecast
North: Smaller, fun size NW swell leftovers with waist-chest high surf at exposures and a few lingering sets near shoulder high at standouts early in the day. New NW swell builds in through the afternoon.
West & South SSW swell continues with waist-chest high surf at exposed breaks and some sets up to shoulder-head high at standouts. NOTE – Due to shadowing by Kaho’olawe/Molokini, much of SW Maui (especially from the Makena area through Olowalu) will be smaller or even flat.
Keep in mind surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
