Da Shrimp Hale, a new restaurant at Maui Mall in Kahului, is offering a Kōkua Special in support of the families who live along Wailuku River in ‘Īao Valley.

On Tuesday, September 13, a torrent of water from a flash flood swept through, altering the land and damaging homes.

Residents have set up a way to help:  Mālama ʻĪao is a page created on YouCaring.com, known as a compassionate crowdfunding site. Learn more on recovery efforts in Maui Now’s story.

Da Shrimp Hale will be helping in its own way. For every two pounds of crawfish or Kampachi kama special purchased, the restaurant will donate 15% of the proceeds toward the fund to assist residents and repair damages at Kepaniwai Park.

The Kōkua Special is available while supplies last. Learn more about Da Shrimp Hale here.
