Man Power Shortage Results in Missed Makawao Trash Route

Manpower shortage, Makawao. Maui Now image.
Due to a manpower shortage, trash was not collected on a refuse route in the Makawao area on Monday, Sept. 26, 2016.
The affected areas include:
– Kealaloa Avenue
– Miner Place
– Olinda Road
– Baldwin Avenue
– Maohu Street
– Makawao Ranch Acres (as well as all surrounding streets and roads).

The missed route will be completed on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2016. Department officials apologized for the inconvenience and thanked the community in advance for their patience and understanding.
