South: Surf is waist high today or less.

screen-shot-2016-10-26-at-7-11-27-amWest-northwest swell is peaked and will hold through much of Wednesday before slowly easing through the end of the work week. On Friday a mid-period north-northeast swell is expected to filter in with waist/head high waves mixing in with the fading west-northwest.

Nothing significant is expected out of the SPAC with minimal southern hemisphere swell around waist high or less today.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
