Warning Level Swell Peaks This Morning for Maui

A High Surf Warning is posted for the north and west shores of Molokai and the north shore of Maui through 6 p.m. Monday.
A Small Craft Advisory is posted for all island waters through 6 p.m. Monday.

Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights of double to triple overhead are expected today at the standout spots. Most normal breaks will be washed out. Outer reefs could get up to 20 to 25 foot faces early in the day.
West: Surf is ankle/knee high today. Spots catching the wrap will be bigger.
South: Surf is ankle/knee high today.
Our current northwest swell is peaking Monday morning for Maui and will begin to fade later in the day. spots from Ho’okipa westward will be blocked largely by Molokai. Another swell is expected for the 16th with possibly a reinforcement on the 18th.
Nothing significant is expected out of the SPAC for the foreseeable future.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
