Looking Ahead
A low north of Kauai will move southwest through Monday, passing just west of Kauai Sunday morning. The disturbance will bring showery weather with a slight chance of thunderstorms today hrough Sunday. Breezy west winds will shift out of the south by tonight. Trade winds are forecast to return on Monday and continue through next week.

Partly sunny skies are expected with scattered showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms for Maui County. Some thunderstorms could produce heavy rain. High temperatures from 78° to 83°. Southwest winds from 15 mph. Sunday, Mostly cloudy skies and haze are expected with scattered showers and again a chance of thunderstorms during the day with winds veering out of the southeast around 15 to 20 mph.
