Maui Surf Forecast
North: Most spots are closing out today. The deep water breaks will be seeing 18 to 25 foot faces with sets getting into the 30’s.
West: Surf is knee/waist high today. Spots catching the west-northwest will be bigger.
South: Surf is knee/waist high today.
Our current reinforcing XL swell is peaking Thursday morning with 18 to 25 foot faces expected for the deep water breaks. Sets could get up to 30 foot faces or more. This swell will start easing Thursday and through the weekend.
A small south-southwest is showing through Friday with a slightly bigger swell right on its heels for the weekend.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
