BOH Accepting Nominations for Mike Lyons Community Award

Nominations and applications for the 2017 Bank of Hawaiʻi Foundation Mike Lyons Maui Community Award are now being accepted.

The award was established in 2004 in honor of the late, retired Senior Vice President and Maui District Manager Michael H. Lyons II, who was a dedicated community leader throughout his 41-year career with the bank.

BOH Foundation is particularly interested in programs in the areas of community development, education or housing that will benefit residents of Maui County, including low- to moderate-income youth and their families.

Nonprofit organizations on Maui, Lānaʻi and Molokaʻi are asked to apply by May 19, 2017.

The award provides one or more grants up to $30,000. Nominations may be made by the public or by the 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organizations themselves.
