Maui Orchid Society Easter Show

The Maui Orchid Society will host their Annual Easter Show and Sale from April 13-15 at the Maui Mall from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The American Orchid Society certified judges will judge the exhibit at the Mall where ribbons will be awarded.

“We will be showcasing our members’ plants for the entire community to enjoy,” said Dr. Akitake, MOS president.

Since 1941, the Maui Orchid Society has been about sharing and raising awareness. Members will be on-hand during the three-day exhibit to answer questions regarding the growth and care of orchids.

“Growing orchids on Maui is within the reach of all and the rewards are great,” Akitake added.

Other MOS shows scheduled in 2017 include the Mother’s Day Show from May 11-13; and Maui Fair Orchid Land, October 5-8.

The Maui Orchid Society meets on the third Tuesday of the month at the Wailuku Community Center starting at 6:30 p.m.

The next meeting will be held on April 18.
