Maui Police: 8 Unclaimed Remains at Forensic Facility

The Maui Police Department reports that their forensic facility currently has eight unclaimed remains.

Department officials tell us they hope to get in touch with family members of the deceased.

The remains include individuals whose date of death ranges from August 2016 to January of 2017.

Identities of all have been confirmed and are available in a listing posted below.

Maui police say if they are not able to locate any next of kin within a reasonable amount of time, they are submitted for disposition and the bodies remain at the facility until the mortuary gets approval from MedQuest to cremate.

Michael Andrew Miranda
Date of Death: 01/26/17
Height: 5’8 1⁄2”
Weight: 147 lbs.
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Brown/white with male pattern baldness
Identifying marks: Pierced left earlobe, demon tattoo on lower back, other tattoos

Michael Krugman
Date of Death: 12/24/16
Height: 5’4”
Weight: 121 lbs.
Eyes: Green-gray
Hair: White/brown with male pattern baldness; moustache and beard
Identifying marks: None

Matthew Blair
Date of Death: 12/22/16
Height: 5’10”–6’
Weight: 150-170 lbs.
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Brown; facial hair
Identifying marks: Linear tattoo on left upper arm and triangle-shaped tattoo on upper back

Donna Rowley
Date of Death: 11/28/16
Height: 5’3”
Weight: 127 lbs.

Kenneth Lee Gillette
