Suspect in Tokyo Lounge Robbery Turns Himself In, Charged

Tokyo Lounge robbery suspect charged.

A man wanted in connection with a robbery investigation reported at the Tokyo Lounge in Wailuku on Monday, April 24, 2017, has turned himself in to police.

William K. Keliihoomalu IV, 30, turned himself in at the Wailuku Police Station at around 12:09 a.m. on Monday, May 1, 2017.

Police say Keliihoomalu was being sought for an outstanding arrest warrant in connection with the incident.

He was arrested and charged for the offense of first degree robbery and his bail was set at $250,000.

The charges stem from a report of an armed robbery reported at around 10 p.m. last week Monday, at the business, located at 315 Ho’okahi Street in Wailuku.

Police initially said two masked males entered the business and attacked patrons and employees before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The other suspect remained at large at last report.

Police say the investigation is on-going.
