Maui Humane Society Hosts First Annual Golf Tournament
The Maui Humane Society will host its first annual golf tournament on Saturday, June 24 at the Wailea Golf Club’s Blue Course.
The tournament will help support Maui’s shelter animals and all proceeds will be used to provide care and life-saving options to Maui’s homeless animals.
The golf tournament will be a three-person scramble, golfers can register as an individual or, receive a special rate if joining as a team of three.
Mercedes Benz of Maui will be offering four “hole in one” contests with prizes including; a 2017 Mercedes Benz, a Caribbean cruise for two (5 days/4 nights), two round trip tickets to the mainland and an electronics package valued at $2,500.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for individuals and organizations. Sponsors will receive recognition on the event website and will have their logo or other special message featured on one of the 18 course tees. Sponsors who register with a team of three golfers will also receive an additional discount.
There will be an awards luncheon at Manoli’s Pizza Company following the tournament, hosted by sports anchor Kanoa Leahey.
Check-in will begin at 6 a.m., all golfers must be checked in y 6:45 a.m. with a shotgun start at 7:15 a.m.
