Starting July 1, 2017 Kaiser Foundation Hospitals’ Maui Health System will take over the management of Maui Memorial Medical Center, Kula Hospital and Clinic, and Lānaʻi Community Hospital. All are now being operated by the State of Hawaiʻi.

Maui Health System will oversee the care delivery system at the hospitals, working with contracted physicians and other doctors in the community. The three hospitals will continue to function as community hospitals, caring for everyone, regardless of their health insurance or ability to pay.

During this Wednesday’s meeting Ray Hahn, Senior V-P and Hospital Administrator, and David Ulin, MD, Associate Medical Director, Operations, Pacific Permanente Group, will share their vision and answer questions from the audience who may wish to ask about changes in medical procedures to be offered , the new management, hospital access for your doctor, costs and insurance.
