Maui Surf Forecast

North: Surf heights are expected to be knee/waist high today.

West: Surf heights are expected to be mainly knee/waist high today with the good spots getting up to chest high on the sets.

South: Surf heights are expected to be mainly knee/waist high today with the good spots getting up to chest high on the sets.

No significant swells are expected this week out of the south but some background swell will keep conditions from being completely flat. Thursday we’ll see a modest new pulse of south-southwest, with another small pulse expected for the weekend.

Trade winds are picking back up and east swell will rise as a result. Small Craft Advisory conditions are occurring in our coastal waters.

Leftovers of old north-northwest swell is fading through the rest of the work week becoming pretty flat by Friday / Saturday.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
