Pukalani Superette Makes $3.5K in Donations on Maui
Thanks to the generous donations from customers over the past few months, Pukalani Superette made donations totaling $3,507 to four of Maui’s elementary Schools (Kula Elementary, Pukalani Elementary, Haʻikū Elementary, and Makawao Elementary) and to Maui’s Women Helping Women organization.
Each school received $543.75 to help support higher education for children.
Women Helping Women received a $1,332 donation to assist with various events and programs offering safety, support and empowerment to women and children who are victims of domestic violence.
Pukalani Superette owner Aric Nakashima said, “I am really touched by the generosity of our customers that make these donations possible and help serve the community.”
Donation canisters, where customers can drop in loose change or make a donation, can be found at each Pukalani Superette checkout counter.
