Update: 6:16 a.m. 6.29.17

Maui Electric has since restored power to all customers affected by the early morning outage in Sprecklesville, Pāʻia and Kūʻau as of 6:16 a.m.

Company representatives thanked the public for their patience and understanding while crews worked to get power back online.

The outage was reported at around 4 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017.

Update: 5:22 a.m. 6.29.17

Maui Electric Company is responding to a power outage in the Sprecklesville, Pāʻia and Kūʻau areas.  Residents in the Skill Village area of Pāʻia say the power has been out since around 4 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017.

Maui Electric crews are currently working to identify the cause and restore electrical service as quickly and safely as possible.
