Looking Ahead
Our winds are expected to weaken to moderate levels for the weekend. Showers and humidity are forecast to increase, mainly for Maui County and the Big Island early next week as tropical moisture moves in from the southeast. We could see an increase for the Big Island Sunday, then pushing up the state Monday through the middle of the work week. Breezy trades and drier air are expected to return for the second half of the week.

We expect east winds around 15 to 20 mph. Mostly sunny skies for leeward spots with with isolated morning showers. Scattered morning showers for the windward sides, with isolated afternoon showers. Temperature up to 85° to 90°. On Sunday, partly cloudy skies with scattered windward showers.
