Maui Humane Society Gets $15K Grant for Veterinary Equipment

The Maui Humane Society has received a $15,000 grant from Banfield Foundation for medical equipment to be used in its recently expanded Veterinary and Spay/Neuter Clinic.

“We’re very grateful for this generous support from the Banfield Foundation,” said Jerleen Bryant, CEO, Maui Humane Society, “and this equipment will certainly allow us to provide even better care for the animals that we help.”

Reminder: Fur Ball Fundraiser, Sept. 9, 2017

The Maui Humane Society is bringing back their Fur Ball fundraiser which will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017 at the Four Seasons Resort Maui.  Tickets are on sale now, individual tickets are $175 each and tables of ten are available at $1,750. There are also a limited number of sponsorships still available.  All proceeds from the event will support the Maui Humane Society’s many life-saving efforts.

Maui Humane Society Veterinary Clinic Expansion Complete

Earlier this year, the Maui Humane Society celebrated the completion of its expanded and renovated veterinary clinic.  The project was completed with the help of a $260,000 grant from PetSmart Charities, and allows the organization to accommodate more animal surgeries daily than before.  The expansion added approximately 700 square feet to the vet and spay/neuter clinic.
