The Maui Fair, this year appropriately themed, Celebrating the Good Ol’ Days will return for its 96th year during the first week in October from the 4th through the 7th.

The event features multi-cultural food, exhibits, entertainment and contests.

Fair executives say an estimated 95,000 attended the event last year.

The Maui Fair serves as the primary source of funding for many of Maui’s nonprofit and community organizations and relies entirely on corporate and local business sponsorships, and volunteers for support.

Also set to return in 2018, the EK Fernandez Joy Zone, Horticulture, Orchidland, Livestock & Poultry, Hobbies & Crafts, the popular Chili Cook-Off, Baby of the Year, Pie Eating Contest, photo and art exhibits and competitions, and more interactive fun. Plus, find unique and innovative products and services in the “Maui Fair Products & Services” Tent.
