Looking Ahead
Trade winds will increase in strength starting this afternoon through Wednesday with wind directions shifting to a more northerly direction as Tropical Storm Olivia moves closer to the islands. Chances for heavy rain are increasing spreading east to west across the state starting later tonight and lasting through Thursday as Olivia passes through the Hawaiian Islands. Strong winds and heavy flooding rain threats will gradually decrease from east to west across the state starting on Thursday. A wet trade wind weather pattern will develop on Friday with showers favoring windward and mountain slopes with much drier trade wind weather returning for the weekend.
West Side
