Harvest Café in Kīhei is hosting a Pay-What-You-Can day from 4 to 6 p.m., just before the 4th Friday town party on Sept. 28.

Three menu items are being made especially for this offer:

1. Vegan Curry Stew over Coconut Rice
2. Tiki Taco with rice and beans
3. Aloha fresh greens salad with house dressing and gluten-free garlic bread.

It also includes your choice of two house-made beverages.

Owners say they’re doing this to uplift the community and promote a welcoming vibe, because they believe in the “importance of good, clean food for your body” and “the importance of Love from those around you for your soul.”

They add, “Money is insignificant during this 2-hour window of special time. During this time, it doesn’t matter how much or how little money you have. Reminding ourselves that we are all just people trying to live happy lives is the priority.”

Harvest Café is located at 1367 S. Kihei Rd. #3-105, open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
