The Hawaiʻi Small Business Development Center will host a free workshop geared for small businesses owners on Monday, Oct. 8 at the Maui County Business Resource Center from noon to 2 p.m.
Fred Rickert of the Maui Office of the Hawaiʻi Small Business Development Center will be the event presenter. There is no cost to attend and attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch.
This new workshop, presented by the Small Business Development Center, is geared for small business owners looking to improve their customer base through a new business strategy to expand operations: The “Value Proposition” is an innovation service/feature intended to make a company or product attractive to customers.
The workshop will cover the following topics:
- How to create products and services that benefit your customers,
- How to focus on customer’s needs, wants, and problems – using a canvas approach,
- How to design your products and services to “fit” through testing, measuring, monitoring,
- How to “Improve relentlessly”.
The Center provides both existing and aspiring business owners with confidential, one-on-one, no-cost business advising services, training workshops and market research.
This workshop is no-cost, however seating is limited.
