The Kāʻanapali Beach Hotel on Maui was named the No. 1 Top Hotel in Hawaiʻi by readers of Condé Nast Traveler in the publication’s 31st annual Readers’ Choice Awards.

The hotel property moved up from a No. 4 position in last year’s awards.

“To be recognized among the top hotels in Hawaiʻi is an honor, but to be named number one on a list chosen by readers is truly humbling,” said General Manager Mike White. “Our employees are the heart and soul of our hotel, embodying the spirit of aloha and welcoming each guest into our ʻOhana. With fresh programming like our inaugural Ola I Ka Pū Hala conference celebrating the art of Hawaiian weaving and our new Waʻa, a traditional Hawaiian outrigger canoe at the ocean activity center, we want to give our guests reason to come home to Kāʻanapali Beach Hotel time after time.”

The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are a prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry and are commonly known as “the best of the best of travel.” Nearly half a million Condé Nast Traveler readers submitted a record-breaking number of responses rating their travel experiences to provide a full snapshot of where and how we travel today.
