The Maui Arts and Cultural Center (MACC) is inviting the Maui community to join them for a free screening of “Smallfoot” this Friday, Jan. 11. The screening will be held out on the lawn of the A&B Amphitheatre at the MACC at 6:30 p.m. Gates to the screening will be open at 5 p.m.

The MACC is encouraging attendees to bring low-back beach chairs and blankets, but asks that no coolers or outside food or beverages be brought into the event. The event will also feature pre-show entertainment by Brad Kahikina, prize drawings, and a special keiki art activity.

There will also be food available for purchase. The event menu is available online. If there is rain, the MACC will hold the show inside the Castle Theatre with seats available first come, first served.

The film is rated PG and runs for an hour and 36 minutes. The County of Maui is helping put on the event, as well as other sponsors that help the MACC continue to offer over 370 free community events. The MACC will be holding another free movie screening of Disney Pixarʻs “Incredibles 2” on Friday, Feb. 22.
