An update on healthcare was provided at the Maui Chamber of Commerce Pau Hana networking event held Tuesday, Jan. 29 at Kula Hospital.

The Business After Hours event was hosted by Maui Health System and included comments from and discussion with Maui Health System CEO Mike Rembis and the senior leadership team at Kula Hospital.

Maui Mayor Michael Victorino also spoke about the importance of quality health care on Maui during the event.

The event featured a special menu prepared by Kula Hospital Executive Chef Les Barayuga and guests were welcomed by pāʻū rider Sofia Salvatierra and John Viado.

Guests took home a gift of custom made Poi Truffles sprinkled with edible glitter, made by local baker Tammy Dozen.
