Police Search Haʻikū Home, Man Arrested on Drug Charges

The Maui Police Department Crime Reduction Unit executed a search warrant at a home in Haʻikū on Thursday, April 25, 2019.

As a result of the search, police say officers recovered crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, three handguns, one rifle, ammunition and a butterfly knife.

Police arrested Benjamin Inciong, 47, of Haʻikū. He was charged with the offenses of: felon in possession of ammunition, use of a firearm in a felony drug offense, felon in possession of a firearm, altering the identification number of a weapon, butterfly knife, second degree promotion of a detrimental drug and first degree promotion of a dangerous drug.

Inciong was being held in lieu of $250,000 bail at last report.
