Looking to celebrate Mother’s Day with family, plus some great food and maybe even ocean views?

We gathered some of the options available across Maui on Sunday, May 12, 2019.

Mother’s Day Brunch at Tiki Terrace

Gather with family at Kā‘anapali Beach Hotel’s Tiki Terrace Restaurant between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. for a brunch buffet that features assorted salads, a carving station with prime rib and passion fruit-glazed ham, made-to-order omelettes, local poke selections and poi, a cold seafood bar, keiki station, range of hot food items and desserts.  The spread costs $58 for adults and $25 for children; kids 5 and under eat free with paying adult.  See more information here.

Cane & Canoe Hosts Mother’s Day Brunch

The signature restaurant at Montage Kapalua Bay, Cane & Canoe, will feature a Mother’s Day brunch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  It includes a range of starters and sides; raw bar with chilled lobster tails, poached prawns and crab legs; breakfast options like eggs Benedict, banana pancakes and an omelette station; keiki favorites and desserts such as mini chocolate mousse cake, lilikoi cheesecake and malasadas.  This buffets costs $75 for adults and $40 for children 5 to 12; kids 4 and under are complimentary.  Get more details here.

The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua Offers Brunch & New Buffet Dinner

Executive Chef Kenneth Sniffen and his team will feature two culinary showcases this Sunday.  The annual favorite Mother’s Day Brunch will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., along with the resort’s first Mother’s Day buffet dinner from 5 to 8 p.m.  The menu includes Hawaiian-themed dishes as well as traditional items, and some offerings are locally-sourced from the organic garden on property at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua.  Alongside these traditional favorites, each chef will feature a dish that reminds them of childhood memories with their mother including:

Chef Kenneth Sniffen – Seared Opakapaka
Chef Meredith Manee – Seafood Enchiladas with Salsa Verde
Chef Adrian Pitts – Pulled Chicken Pot Pie with Cheddar, Bacon and Drop Biscuit Crust
Chef Naoto Matsumoto – Shrimp Tempura-Crab & Cucumber Rolls
Chef Bella Toland – “Kare-Kare” – Pinoy Style Vegetables, Peanut-Achiote sauce

Guests will also enjoy an interactive floral shop where moms can create their own special Mother’s Day arrangement, fresh Seafood station, carving station, live action stations, desserts and many other selections. There’s even a Keiki Corner with flower cookie decorating and a photo opportunity to honor Mom on her special day.

Mother’s Day Brunch is $88 per adult and $48 per child (exclusive of tax and gratuity). Mother’s Day dinner is $112 per adult (includes a glass of sparkling rose for adults 21 years and over) and $52 per child (exclusive of tax and gratuity).  Children under five years old are complimentary with each paying adult.

Celebrate Mother’s Day at The Plantation House

The Plantation House Restaurant in Kapalua is offering a special brunch buffet from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Indulge in Snow crab legs and poke at the seafood bar, along with prime rib and Mahi at the carving station. Chef Eric’s Hawaiian classics include Hawaiian sweet bread French toast and shaved ham eggs Benedict. Guests can also create their own eggs to order at the omelette action station. Fleetwood’s Features a Mother’s Day Menu

Fleetwood’s on Front Street in Lāhainā has a menu on Mother’s Day offered between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m..  It includes à la carte options like ahi poke, crab cakes, mango scones, crêpes, lobster Benedict and fish tacos.  There will also be a Prosecco Mimosa bar for $12 per glass or $30 by the bottle, served with a flight of fresh housemade juices.  Find out more about Fleetwood’s here.

Mother’s Day Sail with Pacific Whale Foundation

Celebrate Mother’s Day on the water with a dinner cruise on Pacific Whale Foundation’s luxury sailing catamaran, departing from Lāhainā Harbor at 5 p.m.  The feast, set against the backdrop of Maui’s scenic coastline, features a tropical fruit platter, artichoke dip, sushi rolls, salads, citrus-scented black forbidden rice, sustainable fresh fish, Hawaiian-style ribs, prime rib and chocolate-covered strawberries.  The cruise also includes three alcoholic beverages per adults; unlimited sodas, juices and waters; live local entertainment and a free marine life poster.  The Mother’s Day sail costs $139 for adults and $89 for children ages three to 12.  Book your trip here.

DUO Offers Mother’s Day Brunch

DUO at Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea is taking reservations for its Mother’s Day brunch, available between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.   The spread includes a breakfast station, an extensive farmers market and fish market, small plates and charcuterie, a carving station, entrées like Yuzu Koshu-marinated Shutome, fried mochiko chicken and eggs Benedict, alone with a range of desserts.  Prices are $115 for adults and $45 for keiki ages 6 to 12.  A Bloody Mary and Mimosa Station is available for $25 per person.  Four Seasons also offers complimentary valet parking.  Call 808-874-8000 to reserve your table for brunch, and see details on DUO here.

Mother’s Day Brunch at Ka‘ana Kitchen

Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort is offering a Mother’s Day spread at its signature restaurant, Ka‘ana Kitchen, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The menu includes breakfast options, crêpes and omelette stations; seafood like crab legs, spiny lobster tails, ahi poke and oysters; a range of salads, sides and small plates; and a variety of desserts.  The brunch costs $98 per person and $49 for keiki ages five to 12.  Make a reservation by calling 808-573-1234, and learn more about the restaurant and resort here.

A Mother’s Day Menu at Gannon’s

Gannon’s in Wailea is offering brunch options between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.  The menu features a range of breakfast selections; salads and pūpū; a carving station with sea salt-crusted roast beef, leg of lamb and smoked salmon; and a variety of desserts and beverages.  No à la carte menu is available during this time. Sansei Adds Menu Specials for Mother’s Day

Sansei is featuring some additions to the regular menu in honor of Mother’s Day.  In Kīhei, those include beet salad, Wagyu potstickers, seared scallops, fresh fish and ribeye; call 808-879-0004 for reservations. Special Mother’s Day Offerings at The Mill House

Maui Country Club Features Mother’s Day Brunch

Maui Country Club in Spreckelsville is planning a brunch for members and their invited guests.  There will be two seatings, at 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.  The menu includes fresh fruit, eggs Benedict, baked brie, chilled crab, salmon piccata and roasted pork loin.  The action stations will offer carved prime rib, baked ham and made-to-order omelettes.  There will also be dessert crêpes and other sweet treats.  All moms receive a fresh flower lei.  Pricing is $50 for adults and $20 for children 5 to 10; keiki ages 4 and younger are free.  The club recommends reservations for this popular event at 808-877-7893.  Learn more about the event here.
