Habitat for Humanity Maui announced the opening of its ReStore at their new location at 1162 Lower Main Street in Wailuku.

The larger space is filled with new and slightly used furniture and construction and remodeling materials. ReStore is open for sales Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Private individuals, businesses and contractors are encouraged to donate their leftover residential building materials and overstocked or discontinued merchandise.

Donations are accepted Monday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Habitat representatives say making a donation to the ReStore not only benefits Habitat for Humanity Maui but also diverts usable materials from the landfill.
