Lahaina July Town Party Celebrates Artists, July 12

Lahaina’s 2nd Friday Town Party will celebrate creative artists this Friday, July 12, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. in Lahaina town.

The winners of a Writer’s Short Story Contest will be announced in Campbell Park at 6 p.m.

The Lahaina Art Society Gallery will also host the Lahaina Poster Contest Reception from 6 to 8 p.m. where winners will be announced before the night is over with complimentary pūpū.

Lastly, guests can participate in Lahaina’s “Art Walk” by touring world-renowned art galleries, meeting artists, talking story and sharing in some complimentary pūpū and wine from 6 to 9 p.m. Free Art Maps can be picked up at the Lahaina Visitor Center at Campbell Park.

The Maui Jam Band will provide live entertainment at the main stage in Campbell park from 6 to 8 p.m. Campbell Park will also feature a Keiki Zone for all ages including bean bag toss and pig themed games/crafts.

The popular candlelit tour of the Baldwin Home Museum will once again be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The museum is located on the corner of Front and Dickenson streets. The $7 fee includes admission to the Wo Hing Museum at 858 Front Street and children 12 and under accompanied by a paying adult are free.
