Event co-founder and Maui Food Technology Center president, Luana Mahi said, “When we started the Maui Sunday Market, our goal was to create a sense of place where people could gather, mingle with friends and neighbors, support our local vendors, and absorb each other’s genuine aloha spirit. Today, this event has become a weekly tradition where residents and visitors are made to feel at home further strengthening our event’s sense of ʻohana.”

The Maui Food Technology Center is a non-profit organization that provides services to Maui County residents seeking to start and/or grow a business founded on local agriculture and value-added food production. Throughout the year, they organize events, conduct workshops and provide one-on-one consultations to fulfill their organization’s mission.
