Maui Crime July 14-20, 2019: Burglaries, Break-Ins, Thefts

Maui police responded to 6 burglaries, 19 vehicle thefts and 22 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period from July 14 to 20, 2019.

Burglaries were down -45% from the week before when 11 incidents were reported over the seven day period. Vehicle break-ins were up +100% from the week before when 11 incidents were reported; and vehicle thefts were down -10% from the week before when 20 incidents occurred.

Kāʻanapali:

  • Tuesday, July 16, 4:58 p.m.: 2661 Kekaʻa Drive, Kāʻanapali at Maui Eldorado. Non-residential, unlawful entry.
  • Friday, July 19, 1:01 p.m.: 100 block of Kāʻanapali Shores Place, Kāʻanapali at Mahana at Kāʻanapali. Residential, unlawful entry.

Kahului:
