The Hawaiʻi Air National Guard is flying over four F-22 Raptors from Oʻahu to Kahului Airport on Maui between Aug. 1 and 3, 2019.

The HIANG is conducting training to ensure the aircraft will be able to divert to alternate air fields within the Hawaiian Islands, in the event of any state emergencies.

During this time, the HIANG will also host an F-22 Raptor exhibit that the public is welcome to check out on Aug. 2, 2019, from 1 to 3 p.m.

The aircraft will be in a secured area, but those interested in seeing the exhibit can park for free at Kanahā Beach Park and meet security on-site who can lead them to the exhibit.
