Maui’s Little League Team Plays Friday on ESPN

Maui’s Central East Maui team plays their first game in the 2019 Little League World Series on Friday at 10 a.m. HST (4 p.m. EST).

The team from Wailuku Maui advanced to the Little League World Series after winning the West Regional Title last weekend in San Berdardino, California.

On Friday, Aug. 16, the Maui team will play River Ridge, Louisiana, the winner of the Southwest Region title in a game that will be televised and carried online on ESPN.

The 2019 Little League World Series began today and continues through Aug. 25 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
