Halloween Spook-tacular at the Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center
Queen Kaʻahumanu Center will host its annual Halloween celebration, Halloween Spook-tacular!, set to take place on Thursday, October 31, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m.
QKC will welcome store-to-store trick-or-treating by those 12 years of age and younger. Participating stores will be designated with an orange balloon, and the mall’s Guest Services Center adjacent to center court will offer a non-food alternative in support of the Teal Pumpkin Project, a national campaign to promote the inclusion of all trick-or-treaters, including those with food allergies.
Separately, Maui Friends of the Library will offer two free children’s book per child for those who trick-or-treat at its Queen Kaʻahumanu Center location. All giveaways are while supplies last. For the safety of the community, no masks by those 13 years of age and older, and no sharp costume props will be permitted.
The Center Court will feature Halloween entertainment including a DJ, keiki and family costume contest with prizes, keiki and family costume parade, face painting, magic, special meet and greet with princesses and superheroes and spook-tacular door prizes.
