This weekend, the public is invited to explore kalaka nui, or big trucks like a fire engine and a tow truck.

Itʻs all a part of the Holoholo Kaʻa (“joy ride”) exhibition to raise funds for Hawaiian Language Immersion Education Programs.

For a $1 donation, attendees will get the chance to climb in to a variety of different large trucks and specialty vehicles, including a cement truck, a police car, an ambulance, and a rubbish truck.

The event will be held on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College Parking Lot near the swap meet area.
